Seltzer Biscuits

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Super Bloom All Purpose flour

1 stick butter (frozen)

1 tablespoon baking powder

3/4 cup seltzer (or any sparkling water)

1/4 cup milk

salt
Methods

Heat oven to 425

Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl

Using a cheese grater, shred the frozen butter into the dry ingredients

Mix gently then add seltzer and milk and mix until just combined. Don’t overmix! Dough should be sticky and a little loose

Using a large spoon (or ice cream scooper!) scoop up about a 3/4 cup of the dough and then drop it onto a lined sheet pan. This is your biscuit! Continue dropping the dough onto your sheet pan, the recipe should make about 6 biscuits.

Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown, cool slightly and serve warm
